Dealing with current health issues

How does one deal with current or ongoing medical issues that need to be taken care of at the present moment? It seems appropriate to deal with them, but how does one do it in a positive manner so as not to attract more of the same? Believing that one can heal himself, how does one approach this from a realistic sense dealing with these medical issues such as discussing them with your spouse, making appointments, etc. The thought is not to discuss health problems, etc.

How does a person approach going to the doctor to get something taken care of without bringing negative thoughts into his life? Are we supposed to avoid talking about these issues with our spouse? It does not seem wise not to ignore medical issues that can be taken care of, even knowing that in time one can heal themselves.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to approach this thinking pattern? Thank you.

When we have medical situations, we always need to take care of them. If we need to go to the doctor, we go. When I was sick and I was working on curing myself I went to the doctor and on my way I was seeing myself wearing high heels shoes. I saw in my mind the doctor so incredibly suprised that I was walking by myself. In the meantime I did what I needed to do, having that amazing to me picture in mind. I only told my husband the shortest version, repeating to myself that I am in perfect health. When my doctor talked to me, I was repeating in my mind that I am in perfect health. I did not talk about it to anyone, beside my doctor and my husband who got a summary, the shortest possible. I kept that picture of the high heels in my mind, that when the time came for me to go to my doctor’s visit, this time walking by myself on high heels shoes, I was shaking all over with excitement. The visit happened even better than I imagined. The doctor was so incredibly suprised with what he saw and I was so thrilled!!!

If you have more questions, please post them here and I am more than happy to answer them for you.

Thank you, Amanda. What you said clarifies it exactly as I needed it. It’s not that new medical issues are popping up, but old issues that have not been able to be dealt with before are finally getting resolved after finding the right doctors.

Marc and I now know how to approach the next few weeks in our thought pattern. I am finding an amazing amount of peace in all this! Peace and joy! :cheer:

I am not sure but I think that with fibromyalgia doctors can only reduce pain and improve sleep. They can`t do more.
But what about situation when doctors say that only chemo will prolong life?

Should I follow doctor`s actual recommendation and have a treatment, that according to them, prolong my life???

Amanda and everybody – I apologize what I wrote.
It was not optimistic so forgive me… but I could not handle this by myself.
Sorry , and I am saying all the time “I am in perfect health”.

All I know is that we can indeed heal ourselves and if you have belief it will happen. What I have learned from Amanda is that I believe you should take the treatment, but go into it with the thought and belief that “I am so grateful because I am in perfect health”. As Amanda said when she responded to my post, when medical issues come up we need to address them, definitely! However, at least 100 times a day I would say to myself “Thank you. I am in perfect health” until I believed it with all my heart. When you for treatment, go there with total love for yourself and love for the treatment you are getting and repeat the above statement over and over the whole time you are there. When you see your doctor for office visits, go into that also with the same thought pattern and affirmations.

Please, do one thing, do not ever appologize for anything. We are learning here and we are learning how to change things in our lives. There is no need to appologize!!! 🙂 We love each other here and we understand each other. That what like minded people do. We support each other!!! :cheer:

In your situation, go with your gut feeling. What is that your gut feeling tells you? None of us can give you any answer to that. Only you know your true answer. Follow your gut feeling and as the amazing Beachtowel says, repeat over 100 times a day, “Thank you, that I am in perfect health.”

We all love you, Jolanta!!!

Don’t write this word any more and don’t even think it!!! That word is no longer in your vocabulary! 🙂

Instead of say “in my situation” 🙂

Why is that so important?
