The Power of the Spoken Word

The spoken word is more powerful than we realize. Let me explain.

Thoughts are just intentions, directions in which we want to go. Thoughts evoke feelings and feelings create everything in our lives. In other words we create what it is that we feel. When we feel good we create things that we desire. That is why it is very important for us to feel good. When we talk, we feel, what it is that we are verbally expressing. The longer we talk the stronger our emotions become and their creative power increases. When we repeat the story or statement the feelings get even more amplified. We always create what it is that we feel. So, when we have strong emotions about something, we create it. That is why it is extremely important that we talk only about positive experiences. When we hear or see something other than positive, we need to send love to those people and feel love for ourselves and remain silent about the event. When we feel love for ourselves and for others we stay with a positive feeling. Remember, it is important to talk only about positive things.

When something wonderful happens to us, we need to talk about it over and over. As we repeat the positive feelings get stronger and stronger. Remember, we create what we feel so talking about it will create more of it. Let me give you an example.

In 2009 when the housing market was down many real estate agents sold very few houses. In that year, one of my clients sold a one million dollar home and made a $35,000 commission. He was so excited about it! I told him that he needs to talk about his sale. He said that his colleagues sold only two or three houses the entire year, so how can he talk that he made so much money? I said that if he wants to make more sales and make more money he needs to talk about it. It is all in how you say it. I said to tell his colleagues that he sold a one million dollar home and he made $35,000 in commission and if he can do it in this economy, they can do it as well. He followed my idea and he kept talking about it. As a result he sold four million dollars in real estate in four months in the 2009 housing economy!

Remember, we always create what we talk about. So, we need to be either positive or silent. And when something great happens to us, we need to take a megaphone and announce it to the world. When we keep that in mind, we will create magic in our lives.

Have an absolutely magical week, full of LOVE GRATITUDE and FUN!!!
