Do you realize that a little child has much more patience than we adults do?
When a little child perfected the skill of crawling on the floor, they attempt a big thing. A thing that is really huge for them. That little child takes a big step and literally stands up to take a first big step. But, what does it happen when a child takes the first step? Is that child capable of taking the next one? Maybe one more…and then…ooops! The child is back on the floor. Is this the end of it? Does the child say: I really tried. I did my best. So, I guess…that’s it for me. I am going to be crawling for the rest of my life. If that little child would really do that we all would be walking on all fours. For the little child it is an adventure! It is doing something so cool! Something new! So, that little child gets up again and starts walking again. And… back on the floor. Very often the little child will laugh at it and will get up again and again, until…walking becomes a second nature to them. Some scientists say that it takes over 900 times of getting up from the floor before the skill of walking is perfected. Can you imagine us, as adults, doing that? Trying something for over 900 times? That little child has more patience than any adult. But… that child is you!!! You were that little child when you were learning how to walk.
So, what has happened? As adults we want things to happen now. Instantly. The question is: Do we still have that patience that we as little children had? Yes, we do. But in order to tap into it, we need to become like little children.
How do we do that?
Let’s look at a little child. A little child feels lots of love. When we feel love we automatically become calm and calmness creates patience. A child has fun with everything they do. When we have fun, we are calm.
So, if you really think about it. It is very easy to be like a little child. We just need to feel more love than we do and have more fun than ever before.
And…here…something fascinating happens. When we are patient, we create everything in our lives much faster. The more patient we are the faster we create what we desire.
Have an absolutely magical week, full of LOVE, GRATITUDE and FUN!!!
