The Comfort Zone

I am sure you have heard the saying that if we want to achieve great things we need to get out of our comfort zone. That is so far away from the truth!!!

Let me analyze it.

We create everything in our lives by the way we feel. Only when we feel good do we create what we desire. What happens when we get out of our comfort zone? Do we feel good? Comfort zone means that we feel good in that zone. When we are out of it, our feelings change. So, instead of getting out of our comfort zone we create a new comfort zone.

Everything starts with us. The knowledge of how powerful we are comes first. When we look at everything in our lives we see things how they are. We need to change our perspective and answer a very simple question. How would we like things to be? Whatever we do we need to feel good. Then we put a picture in our mind of the desired outcome. How would we like for this situation to unfold? How would we like this person to behave? How would we like to be treated? Etc. We need to script it. For example: If we want to make a sale we need to see in our mind that we already have it. It is a done deal!!! When we have a picture in our mind that this is a sale it is so much easier to close. In other words when we feel good and we ask for the sale it happens. Do you see what happens at that time? We create a new comfort zone. We become comfortable with asking for a sale. The key is to feel good. If we want to have happy clients we need to see them in our mind being happy. If we want anything that matters, we need to feel good and see in our mind the perfect outcome.

One of clients, a financial advisor, told me that one of his biggest clients consisted of around 25% of his portfolio. That client was going to take his money out and choose someone else to take care of his investments. The first question that I asked my client was if he thinks that he is a good financial advisor. He said that he was, but his client had a different opinion. I told my client all that matters is how he feels about himself. He really has to believe that he is so good and so confident about himself that everyone wants to invest money with him and his wealthy client has lots of faith in him. He did everything I asked him to do. He repeated, over and over, the picture in his mind of his client telling him that he was going to keep his money with him. He also felt lots of love for himself. A few days later he had the meeting with his client. That was an arranged meeting where his client originally was going to take his money out. On that meeting something very interesting happened. It all happened as he pictured it. His client decided to keep his money with him and…also…he told him that his wife had lots of money and he told her that she should invest the money with him as well. The financial advisor kept his client and above that he substantially increased his portfolio.

We create a new comfort zone by creating a new picture of ourselves in our mind. We need to see ourselves in a new perspective. We need to see ourselves powerful and successful in everything we do. Then we picture in our mind the perfect outcome. In other words, we script how we want things to be. Remember, you create everything. So, make sure that you look at things from the perspective of what it is that you want it to be.

And…have lots of fun on the way…

Have an absolutely magical week, full of LOVE, GRATITUDE and FUN!!!
