When I lived in Australia and I have learned about Aboriginies, the natives, I thought about them as primitive. I thought how silly it was to believe that rocks have spirits and so on. The truth was that I could not see the TRUTH! Being sceptic, and becoming even bigger one by doing my Master’s in Psychology, my ego was big and I thought that I knew everything. When I got sick, I discovered that I did not know anything!!! I was an ignorant person who thought that knew it all. With time and knowledge, that changed to wisdom, I realized that I was the primitive one, like you said. I was the one who could not see the obvious! We, the people born and raised in “civilized” world are the one that could not be futher from the truth. Aboriginies and any other “primitive” tribes are the ones that are the closest to it! We have so much to learn from them. I have heard one Tybetian Master saying: “A self realized guru knows more about the matter in this world than a scientist.” How true!!!
