“Money isn’t everything…but it ranks up there with oxygen.”
It seems like a funny statement, but it feels so true. Our lives revolve around money. We need money to support ourselves in this modern society, provide the necessary things like shelter, food and clothing, and we want money so we can supply ourselves with some fun things.
We see people who struggle throughout their lives to provide basic things and we see people who are surrounding themselves with all the gadgets of modern technology and have fun of their lives. What is the difference between those people?
It is how they view money. I will talk about it in more details during the webinar on March 24th, but I wanted to mention here a very important thing that can change your perspective. 😉
Imagine that I give you 1 million dollars. I put a briefcase on a desk in front of you and open it. Your eyes become big and a smile appear on your face when I tell you that all this money is yours. You are thrilled!!! You always wanted that kind of money. But then I tell you that you can look at that money, put it in a safe, but you can never ever spend it. Not even a cent! The smile would very quickly disappear from your face. What is the money worth if you can’t spend it? Nothing! I might as well give you a briefcase of cut newspapers, as money you can’t ever spend becomes a stack of paper with no value. You see, money has only value because of what it can provide for you. It is not the money you are excited about, it is the experience it can offer. The things that excited us are; a house, vacations, clothes, shoes, cars, etc. That is what we see in our minds when we think about money. That is what we see in our minds when we think about having lots of money. We need to see that fun with excitement in order to create money. It is taking us from the seriousness of money, to the experience of joy. 🙂
When we concentrate on the fun, and the joy that we want, we put emotions with that picture, money is going to follow. :woohoo:
How can we change poverty mentality to abundance mentality?
Amanda, you already answered your own question! :silly:
