How to Be Happy

We have different paths, unique desires and individual belief systems. It seems like we are very different from each other. It is true that we are all unique individuals and that makes this world very special, but at the same time we all have one common purpose in life; we all want to be happy.

How can we start our journey to the magical land of happiness?

First, we need to see how special and unique we are. Embrace that uniqueness, focus on it and grow it. In other words, do not ever compare yourself to others. You are unique! It is only you that has those very special characteristics, so, how can you even start to compare something that is so unique? When you come from that direction and that concept, comparing yourself to others makes absolutely no sense. The only person we compare ourselves to - is us. We need to focus on growing those special qualities that we possess.

We need to ask ourselves a question; How can I be better today than yesterday?

We can talk about education, acquiring new skills, etc., which are very important, but absolutely crucial in our lives is the way we feel. When we feel good we grow. We get the jobs of our dreams, grow our businesses, have awesome relationships, stay healthy or heal ourselves, etc. Why? Because we create everything in our lives by the way we feel. When we feel good we manifest in our lives what we desire. When we have those amazing families, relationships, careers, businesses, health, etc., all of that makes us very happy.

And now…here is the very fascinating fact. Something we often don’t realize of simply forget about. For us to have all the wonderful things, to have the magical life, we have to be happy first. What?!!! Are you telling me, Amanda, that for me to be truly happy, I have to be happy first?

Yes! This is exactly what I am conveying here. Happiness does not come from outside. It comes from within you! For us to have the magical life we have to feel magical inside first. Our lives reflect what we feel inside.

So….how do we become happy inside?

By feeling love for ourselves, seeing how special we are and having gratitude for what it is that we have, no matter how much or how little we have. When we are grateful for the smallest things, when we realize how much we have, we are going to feel awesome. We become happy inside and everything else follows, and the magic of life will unfold in front of our eyes.

So, thanks for the food, for the place you live in, for the smile someone gave you, for the hug you give to your child, for the cute pet and make sure you have fun every single day.
