Feeling Love for Yourself

Amanda Devine Our Thinking Leave a Comment

In our culture, as we were growing up many of us heard over and over that we should never love ourselves. We were told that feeling love for ourselves is seeing ourselves better than everyone else. That loving others, but not ourselves is the right thing to do.

Let’s explore this fascinating subject. What does it mean to feel love? True love does not judge. So, if we see ourselves better than others that is not love. It is judgment. When we love truly ourselves, we will see ourselves in a completely new light. We recognize how special and unique we are. We will see ourselves as beautiful/handsome, brilliant, confident etc. And here something amazing is going to happen. The more we love ourselves, the more we are going to love everyone! The less we judge ourselves the less we are going to judge others. The more beauty we see in ourselves the more brilliance we are going to recognize in others. The more we love ourselves the more amazing our lives are going to become.

Why?

Because, we create everything by the way we think/feel. We need to feel good in order for us to create in our lives what it is that we desire. When we feel love we feel good! The true achievement is when we are successful in every aspect of our lives; great relationships, have great health or heal ourselves, have successful careers, businesses, etc. That will only happen when we love ourselves. When we feel good.

So, become the most loving and caring person to yourself. Tell yourself, “I love you” often. Pat yourself on the back for every accomplishment, no matter how small. If something happens not exactly the way you desire, forgive yourself and learn from that experience. See, how special and brilliant you are.

And when you start that journey and continue on the path, you will find yourself living a magical life!

Have an absolutely magical week full of LOVE, GRATITUDE and FUN!!!
