A rabbit and a turtle we going to race each other. The rabbit looked at the turtle, making sure that the turtle knew what he was doing. “Look”, the rabbit said. “You are a turtle and I am a rabbit. I can go so much faster than you. Are you sure you want to race me?” “Yes, I do!!!”, the turtle confirmed. So, they both went to the starting line and as the whistle blew, they were on their way. The rabbit took off and left the turtle far behind. He ran for a while and then he stopped. He decided to take a little rest. He knew that he was automatically a winner because of his speed. So, he laid on the grass and closed his eyes. After a while he opened them and he saw the turtle coming close. He jumped up and ran, leaving the turtle far, far behind. The rabbit stopped again, laid on the grass and closed his eyes. “I am so close to the finishing line and the turtle is so far behind that I can take time to rest”, the rabbit thought stretching comfortably. After a while he opened his eyes and he looked for the turtle. “Where is he?”, he thought. “I really left him so far behind and he is just catching up to me. Let me complete the race and I will wait for him at the finish line”, he decided. He ran and suddenly he saw the turtle standing behind the finish line with a big smile on his face. The turtle won the race!!!

It is a cute story with a HUGE lesson. If we truly want to win and have the life of our dreams, we need to be consistent with whatever we do. We might know what to do, but the results are going to show when we continuously apply ourselves.

We create everything in our lives by the way we feel. Only when we feel good do we create what we desire. When we feel love and gratitude, we feel good. But the key is to feel lots of love and lots of gratitude EVERY DAY. When we feel love today or at this moment, we can create some short term results, but for our dreams to come true, we need to go the distance. It means, we need to be consistent with it. Consistency, is the difference between achieving something that is worth while or settling for something small. In order to build up momentum we need to be consistent. Imagine that we drive a car on a highway. We have a full tank of gas. We drive faster and faster and suddenly we are surprised as the car is slowing down. Why? It needs more gas. We were about to get momentum and the car just stopped. So, we put more gas in the tank and drove it until it runs out. This way, every time just before we get momentum we slow down.

In another scenario, we make sure that our tank is always full as we keep adding gas to it. That “gas” is love and gratitude. When we feel it as often as we can, we get momentum going and things happen faster and easier. As a result, we achieve more in a shorter period of time.

Consistency of doing the necessary things is the key!!! Whatever it is that we would like to create, consistency determines, how quickly we have what we want and whether we can achieve it at all. The interesting thing is that when we are consistent, we find out that with increasing speed we get to our finish line faster and easier.

So, feel lots of love and be grateful for everything…as often as you can. The more often you do that, the faster you are going to build the momentum…and as the result… the faster you are going to live your Magical Life!!!

Have an absolutely magical week, full of LOVE, GRATITUDE and FUN!!!
